The third Domestic Tourism Road Show in Goa was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Sanjaya Srivastava, Chief Secretary, Goa and Mr. Sujit Banerjee, Secretary, Tourism on 5th March, 2010. Mr. Sujit Banerjee called upon the industry stakeholders to educate travellers and also join hands with civic authorities in keeping Indian destinations clean. Other tourist-friendly practices include solid waste management, the use of alternative energy and the protection of the country’s natural bounty.
